We will again be involved in the Nelson Santa Parade!

Sunday 30 November, 1pm start from Montgomery Square

We love being part of the Nelson Santa Parade each year – it’s one of the highlights of our community calendar. The parade is a fantastic opportunity for our players, families, and volunteers to come together and celebrate the spirit of Nelson alongside so many other local groups. Taking part allows us to showcase our club pride, connect with our wider community, and spread some festive cheer.

Being involved in events like this reminds us that FC Nelson is more than just football – we’re a community club at heart, proud to play our part in making Nelson a vibrant and united place to live.

We will be at the front of the parade again, dressed in our FC Nelson shirts and holding on to the flags of the world. We have also been asked by the organisers to help out by wearing a few costumes!

We will get further details closer to the time, but at this stage we know that we will be required to gather at 12pm and be all ready to go by 12.30pm. We will provide the FC Nelson shirts - you provide the smile! We will be marching down at the front of the parade, ending in the Trafalgar Park carpark about 1.45pm. Kids, parents, grandparents - you are all invited. We also need a few teenagers or adults to do some keepie-uppies down the street with us!

We would love as many of our FC community to join us in the parade - we require at least 60 people, but more the merrier!
