Sporting 'feast' invitation from New Street Steakhouse

FC Nelson club sponsor, the New Street Steakhouse have organised $20 dinners on Saturday 16th. Eat from 6pm, then watch the mighty All Blacks play, followed by Australia playing France in the World Cup. Enjoy drink specials and a social night, reserve your seat & let your coach know you're coming.

Bar Person needed for Victory Bar

FC Nelson is looking for a person to run the Victory Square Club Rooms bar. The successful applicant will have a Bar-Licence (or the intention of obtaining one shortly, the club would prefer somebody already associated with the Club, but all applicants will be considered.

Defibrillator NOW at Victory Square

With football underway FC Nelson would like to let everyone know that an AED, or Defibrillator Unit is now installed at the Dairy across the road. Courtesy of Fico Finance, this unit has been put into the 'On the Spot Convenience' store straight across the road from the fields.

FC Nelson Chatham Cup Game

FC Nelson will be playing in NZ's oldest knock-out cup competition tomorrow (Anzac Day) at Jubilee Park. Get along & support the team as they look to qualify as Nelson's best, kick-off is scheduled for 2-00pm.

Regional Skill Centre

In conjunction with NZ Football, FC Nelson is holding a Regional Skill Centre in Term 2. It's an opportunity for players, both boys and girls, between 6 and 12 years old, to develop their technical ability and game awareness. The Skill Centre will be held by George Campbell, ably assisted by TJ Hansen.

No School? Improve your Football

Register for the FC Nelson April School Holiday Programme now. Over the school holidays our very own George Campbell & his very capable assistants will be holding Football clinics for 6 to 8 year olds, and 9 to 12 year olds.

'7 A-Side' is back

The FC Nelson 7 a-side tournament is being played on Saturday 17th March at Guppy Park. Last year it was ever so popular and its a fabulous way to get the ball rolling for 2018. Kick-Off's at 10, with 3 divisions, cash prizes and a whole lot of footy fun. What could be finer on Saint Patricks Day?

8th AGM for FC Nelson

The 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for FC Nelson is scheduled to be held on Monday, 26th February 2018. It will start at 7-00pm at The New Street Steakhouse, 58 Collingwood Street, Nelson.

Junior Skills Kick-Off Soon

6 to 8 year olds can have fun learning all about the beautiful game in a match orientated environment at "Discover Football". 9 to 12 year olds can take their game to the next level with "Football Development". Both sessions start soon at Neale Park and a great way to get set for the season.

Women's Head Coach Needed

If you are a Qualified Level 2 Coach with the right attitude then we want to hear from you. It is the club's long term ambition to develop a 1st Division Womens team that is capable of winning the local competition. And competing in other competitions throughout New Zealand.

FC Nelson needs the right person for this key role. We need someone to help us deliver great quality football experiences to our members, both on & off the pitch. If you're a good communicator & organiser, have competent computer skills, a good attitude & a passion for football (helpful but NOT essential) then read on.

FC Nelson School Holiday Programme

This is a great opportunity for boys and girls to improve their skills and have some footy fun under the January sun. From the 15th our very own George Campbell will be helping young players develop and realise their potential at Neale Park. This year age groups have been split to offer a more tailored programme and a better delivery focus.
